Ingredients
  1. 2 lbs 100% grass-fed ground beef
  2. 1 tsp dried rosemary
  3. 1 tsp dried thyme
  4. 1 tsp dried sage
  5. 1 tsp sea salt
  6. 4 Tbs maple syrup (more or less depending on taste preference)
  7. 1 Tbs coconut oil (you can also use butter, ghee, tallow, or bacon grease)
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients except for the coconut oil.
  2. Use your hands to form into patties and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat the coconut oil (or fat/oil of choice) on medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5 to 8 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked thoroughly.
Notes
  1. Alternatively, you can brush the maple syrup on top of the patties rather than adding it into the meat mixture.
  2. Make these patties in batches and freeze. Take them out the freezer the night before to defrost in the refrigerator and reheat for next day's breakfast!
